I make paintings, collage and illustrations in my Des Moines, IA studio. In 2024 I published an art and activity book: Shapeshifter:The Art of Family Tragedy and How to Be Amazing Anyway. This interactive memoir documents creating art and community to work through inherited grief, and recovery to grow into love, forgiveness, and End-of Life care. This project was supported by an art project grant from National Endowment for the Arts and the Iowa Arts Council which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
